    Excellant staff,very polite and helpful.

having afront room looking on to the main road ,a bit noisy from the traffic.

The only postitve item was its locations as it was close to the ferry port and cheap.

The entire deco was dated, tatty and worn. The net curtains in the room were dirty. They advertised they has a gym both on the site, in and out side of the hotel-This is why I chose the hotel. The gym was not in use. Overall very disapointed.

Can faut the location for its closeness to the seaside

Definitely in need of a general makeover-breakfat was reasonable and staff were good but overall looks like little if no maintenance is done on any part of the hotel-beds poor as were pillows-at a push did for overnight but as in using it for any more than a night def not-a bit of paint and room makeover would do this hotel a world of good

This has got to be the worst dirtiest poorest disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at..Absolutely nothing whatsoever to recommend it. It was filtly, noisy, dangerous

Dirty rooms - curtains, bath, toilet, windows carpet lights and it stank of cigarette smoke. Bedroom windows cracked and in dangerous condition.Decoration straight out of the 60 when it was probably last painted. Receptionist only just spoke enough English and whilst she wasn't rude to me she was with other residents. Without being rude this hotel was crap!

Room, bathroom, facilities, elevator, nothing was at the level of even a 2 stars hotel.

    Parking availability.

Service, state of rooms (toilet not flushing), food (all microwaved), wine list (only two wines; red or white!), wire mesh over bedroom windows.

When arriving late we still could get a snack in the restaurant. The hotel is perfectly situated for the ferry s

When arriving at 2100 hrs and after a long trip from the west we want to have a drink in the bar and left after ten minutes as their was no barattendend

It's proximity to the Cruise Terminal and shopping area.

The rooms could do with a serious revamp, the decoration was depressing and could do with a good clean, and the balcony was awful. There was no remote for the TV, the plugs were not accessible especially for the kettle.

Its location clsoe to the town and not far from the Easern Docks is an attraction.

It is classsed ast 3 Star; however the amenities and need of refurbishment should bring it down to 2 Star. Also, I was amazed I was made to pay for my dinner immdiately; they wouldn't put it on teh room as most 3 Star Hotels do, to be settled inteh morning prior to leaving. I thought this a very cheap way of dealing with customers, and lack of trust and respcect.trust and very rude.

The hotel is well located for the port and the city. The reception staff were friendly.

The building itself exterior and interior is very dated. The room needed a complete refit. They had painted the bathroom floor, sink and even inside the bath with some off-white paint. The paint had cracked in the sink making it look quite unpleasant. We had a wire mesh just outside the window, supposedly to stop pidgeons landing. The bedding was old and stained. The TV was extremely old and showed four channels badly. No toiletries were provided except for a broken liquid soap dispenser.

The only thing i liked about this hotel was the easy access to the ferry port.

Our room was very smelly, dirty and uncomfortable. There was no cold water in the bathroom sink as it dripped so had been turned off at the mains. Bath was full of hair! Really not very nice at all!!

The hotel building and interior are worn and well sub-standard

    convenience for ferry port

    very tired, run down, un-loved

  • Family with children

Ease of access to the port.

It is very dated. I feel that it needs a good lick of paint. For £80 for the night for 3 of us I felt that it was way over priced for what we got. Breakfast was ok in the morning, however I would have preferred a cooked breakfast as we had a long day of travelling ahead of us - however we were leaving too early for it (7.30am).

  • Group of friends

    The attention of the receptionist

The hotel is desperately in need of a total refurbishment and the double beds were too small only, three quarter size. The hotel is near a very noisy road. Food was poor. Restaurant staff need training.
